Together, We Are Stronger

With our appeal to unity as the spark, we will build momentum under the banner: Our Struggles Connected: Unite for Peace and Life, which culminates on January 22nd, marking both the anniversaries of Roe v. Wade and the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons going into effect.

Every fight for justice, from racial equity to a world without war to respecting life to climate action, relies on the collective power of people. By uniting our voices, resources, and energy, we can bring about meaningful change that benefits all our communities.

Why do we need the Horror and Hope National Day of Action?

  • Through digital storytelling, on-the-ground actions, and public witnesses, we will challenge the systems of violence that separate us and call our movements to radical unity.

  • This campaign will strengthen a network of individuals and groups, culminating in a day of action on the intertwined anniversaries of Roe v. Wade and the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons coming into effect.

  • This is an opportunity to invest in that unity and create a much-needed chance to be part of a generational shift toward peace, justice, and life.
